Scrapbooking Ideas ???
I want to create a scrapbook, i need some ideas as to wat exactly a scrapbook is and what are the supplies i need to create one..
All details relating to scrapbooking would be very much appreciated....

1. You will need to get the large size papers and an album that holds them. Lots of stickers, cut outs. They have all kinds of gel pens and glittery markers, and pens. You can get all kinds of stuff. Just go to a craft store and look around. You can get all kinds of ideas from there. Even books on scrapbooking. Its expensive to get started though!2. A scrapbook is an artistic collection of memories. Sort of like a baby book for adults. You can scrapbook your kids lives, your last year in college, anything!
To create one I would reccomend stocking up on paper in every color! Maybe some ribbon, scissors, Mounting Squares (kind of like tape, but they are used to stick the picture down, tape can ruin the picture over time) stickers, definitely some good memories,

You can get alot of things from wal-mart or target. Start out there, and then maybe get some things at a scrapbooking store. The people at the scrapbooking store should help you and give you ideas. If you have the money most of the stores have classes you cant take!
They make scissors that cut in special patterns, whatever you do, DO NOT cut your pictures with these scissors, use them on paper only. otherwise you will come to regret it. Good luck and have fun!
3. You should see if there is a scrap booking store in your town. If not you can go to Hobby Lobby, Michaels or any craft store. Ask for help and see hands on all the materials that are available. You can also see samples and some stores even offer some classes you can take to help you get started.
It takes time to put together a really nice book. So, be patient but enjoy yourself!
4. http://www.scrapbook.com has a lot of useful information on it. There are people on there to guide you and you can see other people's work for inspiration. It's helped me quite a lot!
5. Another good idea is to google "altered books" and learn about how to make an altered book / scrapbook. They are very different and beautiful.
