1. Getting organised is one of the important things to consider when you are a scrapper :) It's important to be able to find things and still have a good work space. I tend to keep like with like - all buttons together, all papers from one supplier together, all markers in their original packaging as th ecolours seem to go together so well....
It helps to have a space just fro your scrapping supplies, hopefully at a desk or table where you work on your albums. Have a look for a second hand set of shelves or drawers that look useful, or you can go to a storage solutions shop and find all sorts of helpful systems for keeping your supplies well. There is even a scrapbooking cupboard that folds out as a workspace and folds away into a cube after you have finished using it!
If you need help with making pages, I sometimes find sketches work. Try Page Maps for example:

I also have some hints and tips for beginning scrappers here:

However you decide to store your supplies or make your albums, remember you are making something special that will ultimately give YOU pleasure, so choose your systems and methods to suit your own needs and please your own sense of what is good :) Enjoy!
2. check out your public library for books and magazines on scrapbooking. My small library has a lot of information.
