How do I create my own scrapbooking paper designs to later manufacture & sell?

I want to create or have someone create for me my own scrapbook paper line. I have no idea on how to do this. I'm thinking you must need digital graphic design knowledge {which I do not have}.

1. You can use microsoft word and photoshop,or if you dont know check out a few websites the internet has enough information to teach yourself anything.

2. Yeh you will need a certain amount of deisgn knowledge mostly on a graphics program like photoshop. Then you'd need to come up with the designs and have them printed profesiionally, a lot of home printers are pretty good but not for that standard of printing. especially considering the amount of colours used. Before you start, do a little research on the colours that mix welll and the patterns your wanting to create, photoshop is averagly easy to get use to, you'll find many online tutorials you can gradiually learn as you get more experienced!

3. Maybe start out with something more simple? People scrapbook events they take pictures at, like... picnics, birthdays, weddings, etc. Maybe get objects from these types of events photograph them, then use that as the "design" of the paper.

So for some birthday paper, take a picture of random candles laying on different colored backgrounds. For weddings, flowers or wedding rings.

These are just quick things that popped in my head, i am sure you could think of something better. but i am sure you get my drift...
