How to make a scrapbook cover by yourself?

I'm planning on making a scrapbook (and I don't intend to buy one) but what can I use to make the scrapbook cover? Please don't say wood or leather, because I don't have any of those!

1. Get some Chipboard. You can paint it or ink it or cover it in paper.

2. nice question....
there r plenty of ways:
1) u can have a nice sheet on the cover and splash sum paint on it....it looks really nice!
2) u can cutout different alphabets from magazines to give it a more scrapbooky effect...
3) u can use ribbonss... or cut out small pieces from different coloured patterened papers and create a collage or a mosaic...
4) if u want to create it onlyn and print it then go to: www.scrapblog.com its a really kewl website!!!
hope this helps!! :D

3. You can take cardboard (maybe several layers of cereal box cardboard glued together) and cover completely with fabric. You can use spray adhesive, or buy fabric/felt/etc. with adhesive already on it. Make sure to make the cover bigger than the pages you plan to use to fill it!

4. Well you can,
* splash different colors of paint all over the book.
*or you can cut your favorite celebreties, singers, authors, or illustrators and stick in a messy place.
*or you can cut your pictures, family picture, class pictures, friends etc.. and stick it.
*get a piece of old cloth, like jeans and cut it and staple it to the copy book from down and add little flowers or stuff the pops, or u can put it plain.
*or get a news paper cut it in different sizes and stick it.

Hope i helped honey :)
