where do you put the Tags on a scrapbook page?
are they supposed to be attached to something, like a ribbon? or are they just floating there? what do you write on the tags? like captions or journaling?

1. It's all up to you!
I like to put a ribbon through my tag, and then mount the tag on a piece of paper bag before attaching to a page. It makes the tag stand out more, because it is raised 3demensionally off the page.
It fun to put journaling on tags but you can also put the title, or date of the event.
Why not just mount a picture, on a tag!
2. the thing about scrapbooking is it has no rules, you do whatever you want. At michaels, they have these little things called brads, in all different colors and designs, I always use them to put the journaling tags on my pages. They're like 2 bucks for fifty of them. You can put whatever you want on them, I did a few pages where I used all tags across the top, and put one letter on each one to spell out Sweet Baby. Whatever looks good to you.
3. As the others have said, there really are no rules. I use them for journaling, photos, you can even bind them and use them as the pages (using the larger tags). You might want to check out the scrapbooking section on http://www.diynetworking.com

4. In scrapbooking the only real rule that there is is to use archival products so that you don't damage your pictures. I use tags by adhering then by ribbon, brads and eyelets. Another of my favorite ways to incorporate them is by inserting them inside pockets. As far as what to put on them I use poems, song lyrics, quotes, vellum, pictures, and charms when I use little tags. I have tons of layout ideas I can send you if you want any ecamples.
5. thats up to you, put them where you want and in the way you wish, you can use ribbon, string, wire, put an eyelet in the corner of a page and tie string through that and let your tag dangle from it, you can put names on them, captions or journal something, or for fun put prices on them and do that on a shopping trip page. dont limit your imagination, put dream, imagine, aspire, and such thoughts on them, leave them plain, make them colored, dust them with glitter or embossing powder. they can be funny or they can be inspirational like a fortune cookie fortune.
