Questions about Journaling?
I wanted to ask everyone, how do you use your journal? What do you write or put in your journal. I would like to buy a nice journal and keep my thoughts in it, but i would like to know what all its used for? Do you share your journal with your friends/family? Do you hide your journal? If so, Where? Do you use your journal as a personal scrapbook? Do you keep poetry in your Journal? What is the purpose of keeping Journal? Answering any of these questions would help me lots. Thanks.

1. A journal is just that.. a journal of your life. You can write whatever you want in it. The journal police are not going to show up and arrest yor for putting the wrong thing in there..LOL Just get one and start writing whatever you want to write in it.
2. well i dont use a journal but i think its a cool idea to put stories in there of how exciting you wish your day was
~~~Scooby-Doo~~~
3. Your journal is your space. Its totally you. For short thoughts, deep ones, solving problems, observing, story ideas, pictures, doodles, colors, poetry, all that..those are things I put in some of mine..I dont share with my family or friends unless its a pretty outdated one i wrote a while ago if i mentioned them (and it was good or funny) or just something random. like i remember i read my sister a journal i wrote a long while back when she was 16 and failed her driver's test and i was "ha ha! she failed her test." and stuff. mfao so yeah. its your place. do what you please. all yours.
4. Hi, a journal is somewhere you can express anything at all..you can be creative, draw, paste in pictures, write poetry - whatever you want. Here is a good article on how to journal effectively:
